The manufacturer recommends setting the start delay to about 6 minutes after the cat leaves: enough time for the litter to clump, and a guarantee that the cat is out. The app tracks weight, visits and the length of each visit.
Plant-based, bentonite, clay or mixed: all four work, as long as they clump.
